Kub Kar races are a long-standing tradition in Scouting around the world. Cubs have the opportunity to design, build and race their car on a purpose built track. It teaches them about physics and design, lets them compete in a fun and supportive environment and meet other Cubs from across the District.

Cubs can register and attend as individuals or as part of their Unit. On the day, alongside the race, you can expect activities, a sausage sizzle and plenty of opportunities to watch the races.

Registration costs $13.50 and includes a base kit to build your Kub Kar on top of. Catering will be available including hot dogs and snacks (these are available for pre-purchase at a discounted rate. Snacks and snags will be available on the event day for purchase). Shipping is available too but you’re welcome to collect your Kub Kar kit from various locations after purchase; Units registering together will have access to centralised pick up or delivery.

Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest cards on the day as well as for the most aesthetic looking Kub Kar (as judged by cubs)
